Here we go! First the Game Plan!
We will analyze the roster position by position. Each blog post will break down as follows:
1 - Present Packer Roster
2 - Packer Free Agents
3 - Other Team Free Agents
4 - College Draft
Lets start with the easiest position: - QUARTERBACK!
First, as I have mentioned earlier, of the 32 NFL franchises, we go from Favre to Rodgers!
Are you kidding me! We are truly VERY fortunate! And, we will not spend mush time here!
Present Roster:
Aaron Rodgers
Brett Hundley
Ryan Williams
Packer Free Agents:
Scott Tolzien
Other Team Free Agents:
Sam Bradford
Kirk Cousins
Brock Osweiller
Ryan Fitzpatrick
College Draft:
Jared Goff
Carson Wentz
Paxton Lynch
Connor Cook
Christian Hackenberg
For whatever reason, Aaron Rodgers was NOT Aaron Rodgers last year! Jordy Nelson out. Eddie Lacy FAT. Offensive line, because of injuries, musical chairs! Mike McCarthy not calling plays in the first part of the year. No dangerous tight end. Wide Receivers injuries & drop balls. Whatever the reason, NOT IN 2016! Rodgers in the prime of his career WILL bounce back!
Scott Tolzien? Free Agent - Bye-bye! Brett Hundley, move up to #2. And Ryan Williams, practice squad.
There are good free agents out there, for OTHER teams. There are some interesting draft projects, BUT, they look like projects! At Quarterback we are set! There is NO need to worry about QB this season, we have other holes to fill!
Aaron Rodgers, how about another MVP season! #3! And a Super Bowl MVP!

Time For My Packer Blog To Get Back To Work!
OK, my self imposed break is over! For the past 3 weeks I tried to take a break from the Pack! But, that is difficult to do! What has happened recently? Packer Buddies are trying to get to Canton, Ohio and the Football Hall of Fame for the Brett Favre induction & the game! We are in the process! And, it has been more difficult than it looks!
Here is the Information on the Football Hall of Fame ceremony:
We will see if we can get there in August!
Here is the game plan for the next few months:
1 - Analyze the present roster & Packer Free Agents
2 - Analyze other teams Free Agents
3 - Analyze the college draft
4 - Discuss the Packer moves over the next few months!
Of course, if you are a Packer fan, it seems the natives are getting restless! Aaron Rodgers will be 32 this year, and his window is closing! And, what are the chances the Packers will have another QB in the future of the quality of Favre & Rodgers! So, there is a push to win now!
Therefore, the Ted Thompson method of draft & develop is under scrutiny! gain, back to Rodgers, do we have time to draft & develop? The system has allowed the Pack to make the playoffs 7 straight years and many teams would die for that! That is good! So, making the playoffs and winning a Super Bowl!
Last two years, VERY difficult playoff losses! Being so close is difficult! The past 7 years we have had some amazing seasons. This year was strange. So, what do we need to win 2-3 more Super Bowls, and win in the playoffs?
And, how about Green Bay itself. The Packer Buddies love the town. Love the people! Love the history & tradition!! And, the Packers are developing the land around the stadium, which will be fun to see!!
So, let the 2016 season begin!!!!
