Now we know the schedule for 2013! Here it is:
The coaching staff usually takes the schedule and breaks it down into 4 quarters - so, I will do the same! Let's start with The First Quarter!
Sunday, September 8 (3:35 pm)- at San Fransisco
Sunday, September 15 (12 Noon)- Home - Washington
Sunday, September 22 (12 Noon)- at Cincinnati
Sunday, September 29 BYE
A very difficult start - 3 Playoff Teams, two away games, and a combined record of 31-16-1! The Packers will see how good they are early in the year! San Fransisco has been an issue! Will need to stop the QB! The 49er's have made some moves in the off season and have a "ton" of draft picks! Washington, RG III, need I say more. The defense will be tested and we will see early if the defensive scheme can handle a mobile quarterback!! And the Bengals are a young & good team!
Start - it would be great to be 2-1 before the bye!!
Second Quarter (coming off a bye week!)
Sunday, October 6 (12 Noon) - Home - Detroit
Sunday, October 13 (12 Noon) - at Baltimore
Sunday, October 20 (3:25 pm) - Cleveland
Sunday, October 27 (7:30 pm) - at Minnesota
Here is where the Packers must establish themselves! Detroit, dangerous, but beatable! Baltimore, even though they are Super Bowl Champs, their team is NOT the same! Cleveland - BEAT them! Minnesota, say hello to Jennings with a loss!
Record for the second quarter 4-0!
Third Quarter (includes 5 games, because of Thanksgiving Game!)
Monday, November 4 (7:40 pm) - Home - Chicago
Sunday, November 10 (12 Noon) - Home - Philadelphia
Sunday, November 17 (7:30 pm) - at New York Giants
Sunday, November 24 (12 Noon) - Home - Minnesota
Thursday, November 28 (11:30 am) - at Detroit
Three home games, win the home games! Will be interesting to see new head coaches from Chicago & Philadelphia! Again, defense will be key! And, a "Turkey Day" game! Pass the drum stick & gravy!
Record for third quarter - 3-2.
And the Fourth Quarter!
Sunday, December 8 (7:30 pm) - Home Atlanta
Sunday, December 15 (3:25 pm) - at Dallas
Sunday, December 22 (3:25 pm) - Home - Pittsburgh
Sunday, December 29 (12 Noon) - at Chicago
Again, difficult - 4 possible playoff teams! Atlanta was close last year & will be just as good! Will Dallas be there? Pittsburgh is a critical stage in the development! and Chicago - at Chicago! What will they be like at the end of the year!!!
Record 2 - 2!
Season Predication - Wins 11 Losses 5
Win Division - Win NFC - SUPER BOWL CHAMPS!!
