Looking At 2015 NFL Draft - Denzel Perryman

One of the Packers obvious needs is inside linebacker!  First, another SHOUT to AJ Hawk!  AJ was a face of our defense the past 5-6 years!!  He had great leadership & played ALL the time!!!  The best scenario would be, Hawk to re-do his salary & stick around for the young guys!
So, with that in mind, what about Denzel Perryman?

First Team All ACC
Third Team All-American
This year - 110 tackles - 9.5 for loss - two sacks - three forced fumbles - one interception
Some Comments:
   Strong in run defense & can cover in pass defense
   Reads his keys well & tackles in the box
 
"Perryman, I think is a first-round inside linebacker if he runs well at the combine," NFL Media's Mike Mayock said.   

An AFC director of scouting told NFL.com earlier this week that Perryman is a "thumper" and a "badass." RotoWorld   

Perryman has the range, instincts, & absolutely the stopping power you just love in a MLB. Jim Cogar 

Darren Page of DetroitLionsDraft.com studied Perryman's performance against Florida and came away impressed, noting he saw "a wide array of skills that translate to the NFL."
