OK, I know most of the starters were watching, but, what did we learn in the Packer first pre-season game?
1 - Missed tackles. Packers, overall are still VERY poor tacklers!
2 - Back-up running backs & running game, maybe Dexter Williams. But, not an exciting break away threat. And, offensive linemen we average a best.
3 - Wide Receiver depth? I liked Allen Lazard. Athletic, 6'5" & good hands. Darrius Shepherd showed some ability to get seperation. We are hoping eventually Valdes-Scantling, Allison, & Kumerow will make Aaron VERY happy! But, more depth & completion is welcomed!
4 - Kizner & Boyle looked more polished, but, not playoffs with these two!
5 - Pass rush, NOT YET!
6 - D-Backs, some depth here & a first look, playmakers & turnover creators!
7 - Coaching - still like the press conferences. As far as changes for the best, too early.
Still three games to go to see what the 2019 Packers will look like. Starters should play more next game! Until then GO PACK GO!
