2020 Free Agency is Winding Down, Where Are the Packers?

End of March, March Madness Canceled, because of Corona Madness!  Where is the 2020 Packer Roster as of March 26, 2020?

New Additions:

ILB - Christian Kirksey
OT - Rick Wagner
WR - David Funchess

Re-signed:

TE - Mercedes Lewis
S - Will Redmond
K - Mason Crosby


Key Loses:

ILB - Blake Martinez
OT - Brian Bulaga
FB - Danny Vitale
TE - Jimmy Graham
DT - Tyler Lancaster

So, look at that list, is the 2020 team better?  Time will tell, but.....

ILB - Kirksey for Martinez
If Kirksey stays healthy, he is a better athlete.  Martinez was a great leader and made tackles, but they were 5-6 yards downfield!  This could be better?

OT - Wagner for Bulaga
Wagner is younger, Bulaga WAS better, but injury issues last few years.  Bulaga demanded 10 million a year, Pack could not afford!  So, more cap space, & younger, but are we better?

TE - Graham gone, Lewis re-signed.
Graham was an expensive flop.  Lewis is a great blocker & team leader.  This is a plus, BUT we need more help.  Funchess is really a TE, playing WR.  This may help?

Crosby resigned, this is GOOD!
Lancaster resigned, he is a backup at best.
Redmond is additional defensive back depth.

So, the Packers have very little cap space, a reality.  About $12 million left, about half will go
to the draft choices.

Bottom line, we need 2-3 starters out of this draft!  My hope:

Starting WR
Starting TE
Starting OT
